2. Payment, Refund and Cancellation Policy

Mahi Institute by Nèsta – Payment, Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Policy forms part of the Terms of Service. It explains how you pay and why our Programmes are not refundable once access is given. Please read it carefully before you pay.

1. Prices and Currency

1.1 Fees for each Programme are shown on its registration page and at checkout before you pay. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay, plus any taxes the law requires us to collect.

1.2 We may price in Pound Sterling (GBP), US Dollars (USD), Ethiopian Birr (ETB), Barbados Dollars (BBD), Nigerian Naira (NGN), West African CFA Franc (XOF), Philippines Peso (PHP), Ghanaian Cedi (GHS), Ugandan Shillings (UGX), Jamaican Dollar (JMD), South African Rands (ZAR) Trinidad Dollar and Tobago Dollar (TTD) or other currencies. Where you pay in a currency different from that of your card or bank, your bank or payment provider sets the exchange rate and may charge conversion fees, which we do not control.

1.3 We may change prices, run promotions and offer discounts at any time. A price change does not affect a Programme you have already paid for.

2. Payment Methods

2.1 Payment is made through secure third-party payment processors and banking channels that we select (such as card gateways, bank transfer and mobile money). We do not store your full card number, CVV or banking credentials.

2.2 Unless an instalment plan applies, payment is due in full before access is granted. Access is normally activated within 24 hours of confirmed payment and usually immediately.

2.3 Bank charges, transfer fees and payment-system commissions imposed by your own bank or provider are your responsibility.

2.4 Pay only through our official website, the Mahi app or official payment links communicated from support@mahiinstitute.com or management@mahiinstitute.com. We will never ask you to pay into a personal account. If you are unsure, contact us before paying.

3. Instalment and Partial Payment Plans

3.1 Where offered, an instalment plan lets you pay the Fees in agreed parts. The number, amount and due dates are shown before you confirm. By choosing a plan you agree to pay every instalment on its due date.

3.2 Missed instalments. If an instalment is not paid when due, we will send a reminder, and you will have 7 days to pay. If it remains unpaid after that, we may suspend or terminate your access to the Programme and all related materials, services and platforms.

3.3 Amounts paid. Amounts already paid are retained by the Institute as payment for the Services already made available and as compensation for the cost of delivering them, and are not refundable.

3.4 Outstanding balance. If you have been given access to a Programme under an instalment plan, the unpaid balance for the Services already made available to you remains due.

3.5 If you face difficulty, contact us before the due date. We may agree to reschedule an instalment in writing, at our sole discretion.

4. No Refund Policy

4.1 All sales are final. Our Programmes are digital intellectual property: recorded lessons, live training, formulations, methods, templates, community access and support. Once you are given access, the knowledge and materials cannot be returned. For this reason, no refund is issued once a student has been given access to a Programme, for any reason, including change of mind, lack of time, personal circumstances, dissatisfaction with results, failure to start or complete the Programme, or expulsion for breach of the Terms.

4.2 This applies from the moment access is activated, whether or not you have opened any lesson. You are encouraged to read the Programme description, curriculum and these terms carefully and to ask questions at management@mahiinstitute.com before you pay.

4.3 Acknowledgment on purchase. By registering, paying or accessing a Programme you are deemed to confirm that you (a) request immediate access to the digital content, (b) understand that no refund is available once access is granted, and (c) acknowledge that, where a statutory right to cancel would otherwise apply to you, you lose it once the digital content has begun to be supplied with your consent, in line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

4.4 No refund, credit or discount is given because of the following: unfounded complaints; refusal to follow Programme instructions; failure to obtain regulatory approval for your products; the outcome or sales results of your business; or a payment dispute raised without first contacting us.

4.5 Transfers. Enrolments are personal and are not transferable to another person or Programme unless we agree in writing.

5. Limited Exceptions

The only situations in which a refund may be considered are the following, each of which is at our reasonable determination and requires a written request to management@mahiinstitute.com within 14 days of payment:

Outside these exceptions, clause 4 applies.

6. Processing of Approved Refunds

6.1 We will review an exceptional refund request within 30 calendar days from the date of its receipt and reply in writing.

6.2 Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 100 calendar days of approval, less any payment-processor or bank charges that cannot be recovered. Your bank may take extra days to show the funds. Refunds are not paid instantly.

6.3 Access to the Programme ends once a refund is approved.

6.4 If you purchased through Apple or Google, the app store’s refund process applies.

7. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

7.1 Please contact us at support@mahiinstitute.com before raising any payment dispute with your bank or card issuer so that we can resolve it quickly.

7.2 A chargeback, payment hold or false claim of non-delivery made for a Programme to which you were given access is a breach of this Agreement and may be treated as fraud. In that case we may immediately expel you, withdraw all access, submit evidence of delivery to the payment processor and bank, claim the amount owed and recover our costs, and report fraudulent activity to the relevant authorities.

7.3 Your obligation to pay for Services made available to you does not lapse because funds are frozen by a payment processor following a dispute you raised.

7.4 Nothing in this clause removes your lawful right under the law or card-scheme rules to dispute an unauthorised transaction or a failure to supply.

8. Taxes

Fees are stated inclusive or exclusive of tax as shown at checkout. Value Added Tax or equivalent consumption taxes are charged where required, including under UK law (for digital services) and the laws of Ethiopia, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Philippines, Nigeria, Barbados and Ghana where applicable. You are responsible for any other import, withholding or local taxes imposed by your own country.

9. Fraud Prevention

To protect students and prevent fraud and money laundering, we or our payment processors may verify your identity, payment method or billing details and may delay or decline suspicious transactions. We comply with applicable financial-crime laws in the countries where we operate.

10. Payment Confirmation and Access

10.1 Confirmation. After a successful payment you will receive confirmation by email, message or on screen. Keep this as your proof of payment.

10.2 Access timing. Access is normally given shortly after payment is confirmed. Where a payment is delayed by your bank or payment provider, access may be delayed until the payment clears.

10.3 Pending payments. If your payment shows as pending, do not pay again. Contact us with your payment reference so we can check before you are charged twice.

11. Failed, Declined or Reversed Payments

11.1 Failed payments. If a payment fails or is declined, access will not be given. You are responsible for resolving the issue with your bank or payment provider.

11.2 Reversed payments. If a payment is reversed, recalled or returned after access was given, we may suspend access until the amount is settled.

11.3 Bank charges. Any bank, transfer or currency-conversion charges applied by your bank or provider are your responsibility.

12. Currency Conversion and Exchange Rates

12.1 Displayed prices. Prices are shown in the currency stated at checkout. Where you pay in another currency, your bank or provider sets the exchange rate and any fees.

12.2 Rate changes. We do not control exchange rates and cannot adjust prices or refund differences caused by currency movements.

13. Promotions, Discounts and Bonuses

13.1 Limited offers. Promotional prices, discounts and bonuses apply only for the period and conditions stated when they are offered.

13.2 Bonuses. A bonus offered with a purchase is part of that offer. Where a bonus depends on enrolling for a stated combination of trainings, it is available only when that condition is met.

13.3 No retrospective discounts. Discounts cannot be applied after payment has been completed.

14. Changes to this Policy

14.1 Updates. We may update this policy from time to time. The version published here when you pay is the version that applies to that payment.

14.2 Notice. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
